About Us

Founded in 2012, Veteran
Forces has been working
with veterans for 10+ years.

In 2012 Veteran Forces was started by 2 Marines, including the 12th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Gene Overstreet.

Veteran Forces is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to making a positive impact in the community by assisting those men and women who, when answering the call to duty, protected the freedom of that same community by serving their nation. Veteran Forces is a collaborative network of veterans and supporters working together to aid veterans and their families.

Gene Overstreet
12th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps

Gene Overstreet entered the United States Marine Corps in June 1966. He was selected as the 12th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps in April 1991 and assumed the post on 28 June 1991. He retired from the Marine Corps in 1995.

Since retirement Gene has been apart of several charities including the Young Marines, Non-commissioned Officers Association, and in 2012, Gene co-founded Veteran Forces.
